Founder’s Story
Hi, I'm Lily Peng.
My passion for English led me to major in Business English at university. After graduation, I landed my first job at an international trading company, working as a senior merchandiser for a garment factory producing for global brands like H&M and Next. This experience gave me a solid understanding of supply chain operations, quality control, and client communication.
However, not long after, I was laid off due to company downsizing. What felt like a sudden setback at the time turned out to be the beginning of a whole new chapter in my life. I sent out résumés rather blindly, and unexpectedly, I received an interview call from an LED lighting factory.
It was 2009. I knew almost nothing about LED, nor did I realize it was a growing industry just about to take off. But that’s how I began my journey in lighting—and little did I know, it would become a lifelong connection.
Within just two years, I immersed myself in learning everything I could, serving customers with care and commitment. I delivered strong sales results, and many clients praised my professionalism and integrity, staying loyal to me ever since.
But reality wasn’t perfect — the factory’s products often had issues, and the prices were relatively high, making it hard to keep up with the fast-changing market. I felt deeply troubled, as I genuinely wanted to provide good service and products to my clients.
One day, a friend said to me, “Lily, you’re doing so well—why not start something of your own?” That simple question struck a chord.I was still young — willing to try, unafraid of failure, and drawn to the feeling of freedom, and determined to bring truly good products to customers. So I took the leap—and that’s how my entrepreneurial journey began.
Since starting my own business in 2011, I’ve never wavered from my original mission. Many of the clients I worked with in the early days are still with me today—not just as business partners, but as loyal friends.
They often tell me, “Lily, working with you is far more reliable than sourcing from factories ourselves—you make everything so much easier.” I know what they truly value is my character, my service mindset, and my ability to filter out the best-value, most reliable products for them.
To be honest, I didn’t “love” lighting at the beginning. It doesn’t have the design flair of fashion, the appeal of great food, or the cool factor of tech gadgets.
But over time, I’ve come to deeply appreciate the value of lighting:
It brings brightness, direction, and warmth.
It lights up the corners of a home, and sometimes, the corners of the heart.
Imagine a world without light—how cold and frightening it would be.
And what I do is help my clients find the exact light they need.
That’s when I realized—this job means more than I had ever expected.
With my experience, judgment, and network of trusted resources, I’m committed to helping clients save time, reduce procurement risks, and find the most suitable products and solutions. For me, this isn’t just a business. It’s a meaningful journey I’m proud to be on.
